My Recently Used Emojis are stuck and won't update on iPhone 15 Pro Max

I found the solution yesterday 😍 turn off the emoji sticker in the apple keyboard settings. Now my frequent used history works 🙌

On iOS, the Recent Tab in the emoji keyboard is dynamically updated based on your most frequently and recently used emojis. Here's how it works:

1. Frequently Used: Emojis you use often in messages, social media, or other apps will appear in this section.
2. Recently Used: Emojis you’ve used most recently may temporarily show up here, even if they’re not frequently used overall.
3. Dynamic Updates: The list updates automatically as your usage changes.
4. Reset Option: Clearing your keyboard history in settings will reset the Recent Tab, removing all previously shown emojis.

Since I turned off the emoji sticker as described, my recent used emojis looks fine. Old stuff what I have used once is gone and that one I use daily is now back again.

This is great to get rid of the stickers. But doesnt work for getting rid of the random emojis you may have used for a day or season I am seeing in my recent emojis. They for sure broke something. Just like changes they made to the OS of the watches. Hope they start working on a fix soon

This was the only recommendation that worked for me too. I can't turn stickers back on or it reverts. Ugh.

I finally updated my iOS after putting it off forever. My recent emojis are stuck. Turning off stickers didn’t fix it.

Yes. That’s how it’s SUPPOSED to work. It no longer does.

This same issue has been ongoing for me for the last 3 software updates on my iPhone 13 Pro. I have read through many threads and blogs and tried every suggested fix and yet a handful of emojis I have never used EVER remain 'glued' in my frequently used/history. Please help! They are creepy ones at that. I might add that on my tablet the same issue with the same creepy never used emojis are present and stuck. The keyboard dictionary reset did nothing at all. It didn't even remove my actually frequently used emoji history.

I have the same issue and I have emojis in the recent used tab, which a used ONCE or even used accidentaly. Now I have them in the recent tab and emojis which I use daily ar not here. It's horrible... I have also reset my keyboard dictionary and it changed nothing in the recent used emoji tab. I hope somebody could help.

Turning off the Stickers makes no difference for me. Neither restarting the phone, nor clearing the keyboard history, nor removing and readding the emoji keyboard.

In fact they seem to have frozen *since* I first removed the Stickers (which are an idiotic feature anyway, lets face it).
