Unable to authorize MacBook Pro for Apple TV and Apple Music

No matter what I try, I cannot get my MBP to authorize for both ATV or AM. When I am in the account screen for ATV, I can deauthorize the two devices that are authorized (my iPad Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max). There is no button to authorize "this device" on the account screen for the MBP. I can mirror my phone just fine with my MBP. I am at a loss.
