All my Playlists on Apple Music iOS have been deleted

This is absolutely incredible. I was a long time subscriber who stopped using the service for 1+ year. Just resubscribed. All my playlists are gone. Are you telling me this is the kind of treatment you can expect? Weirdly, on my "Recently Played", it shows old songs that I listened on my previous subscription period, so that shows that it does remember my old profile.

How could this happen? How can I retrieve my playlists back? I had years of playlists, and some of those playlists were important as I work in the film industry and I was going to source songs there for future projects. This is crazy.
