Is Apple Music delivered via Airplay 2 from iOS the same quality as from macOS?

I recently converted from PC and enjoying Apple Music (AM) from my MacBook Air streamed via Airplay 2 to an Airplay 2 receiver (Wiim Mini). The receiver is connected to my stereo amp and I have streaming and download set to "lossless". I am as happy with the sound quality as listening to CDs. Will an iPad provide the same quality from AM streamed to my Airplay 2 receiver as my MacBook? Thank you!
