Possible hack to upgrade iCloud, increase storage

I have received multiple emails advising me that my iCloud is full and I need to upgrade. Looking in my settings, my account is not full . Is this a fraudulent contact?

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 18

It's a scam message. You have not been hacked. Delete the message and move on.

Recognize and avoid social engineering schemes including phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
