iPad Pro 12.9 And external keyboard (by Apple).

I have Apple external keyboard for 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9”. The keyboard is not allowing me to type a post in Bluesky app. I type a word AND THEN SECOND WORD IS MOVED TO BE THE FIRST WORD IN THE SENTENCE.This happens with each subsequent word. It does not happen when using the onscreen keyboard (which i hate to use). Please help.
