Hi
When I try to log into my Macbook Air (Intel) it accepts my password but then it stops with the progress bar halfway across and won't go any further.
I have tried turn off, restart, safe mode, repair mode and nothing works
Can someone please help me

Thanks heaps. I have tried the recovery/repair and no luck sadly. Have also tried booting through the internet. It says the HD is corrupt. I just want to get my photos off but can't get into the laptop
Not sure what the issue is but you could start in recovery and reinstall the OS. It should not impact your files.
I guess that means you have no backup? If drive has failed and no backup then you may be out of luck.
