Apple Wallet/Pay and Provisioning

I recently received my credit card from U.S. Bank and attempted to add it to Apple Pay, but the process was unsuccessful. I was prompted to contact U.S. Bank for further assistance, which I did. After checking their system, they found no issues with my card. As a result, I was still unable to add it to Apple Pay.

To troubleshoot further, I tried adding another Visa card, but that also failed. Based on this, I believe the issue may be related to Visa. Additionally, I noticed that when attempting to add my credit card to Apple Pay, the transaction is being declined for $0.00 at the Visa Provisioning Service.

At this point, I am unsure how to resolve the issue, as Apple Support has also been unable to assist. For context, I am using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, which I purchased in October 2024. Interestingly, I currently have seven Visa cards in my Apple Wallet that work perfectly for payments, so I am not sure when this issue began.

Yeah, it's so crazy! I'm not sure what was going on or what was wrong with either my iPhone or my iCloud account, but I was able to call my bank. They put an override in their system, which allowed me to add my card to Apple Pay. I asked the representative what she did, but she only mentioned that she was a supervisor in the online department and that they have an override they can apply in the system to enable card additions to Apple Pay, and it worked.
