All Homekit devices stop responding

The Home application (Mac or IOS) is working fine. Then, all devices are marked as not responding. The only option is that the entire home is deleted and the devices are re-added. This include third-party devices like the circle view door bell and Apple HomePods.

I often find it is enough to change which device is acting as the HomeHub via Home Settings. Or reboot that device so that a new one is selected. Occasionally I have also had to reboot my router to get everything working correctly again. I have not had to delete the Home and recreate it.
