Limiting child’s total screen time - not by app

My kid has an iPhone SE with latest software. I want to limit her total time on the phone regardless of app used. For example: total of one hour on the phone regardless of app used. Maybe full hour on texting or maybe full hour on music. But only one hour. How can I do this?

How can I customize app usage limits with Screen Time on my child's iPhone? I would like to set a TOTAL limit on my son's phone. I am aware that I can set app limits - for example TikTok is 2 hours, YouTube 90 min, ESPN 1 hour, etc. But once he gets through one limit it is easy to move on to the next and if I am not watching it like a hawk, 4 hours have gone by. Limiting hours of screen time for a child My son uses about 5hrs of screen time a day. I've set app limits but when the time runs out on one app he just switches to another. Is there a way to limit the total number of hours across all apps per day?
