I have the Apple card, and wanted to do monthly payments on a MacBook. When I selected that option at checkout it said my card was declined. Do I have to have a certain amount available on it in order to make a monthly purchase?

Your Apple Card needs to have available credit in the full amount of the purchase that you want to make (not just the Monthly Installment amount).
