Is iOS 18.3 the problem causing my keyboard to disappear?

I downloaded iOS 18.3 yesterday and almost immediately a couple of apps on my iPhone were hit with frozen screens (blank white). I didnt immediately suspect the iOS upgrade so I deleted, re-downloaded the app and decided to log-in again. When I went to type my user name there was no keyboard. I recall seeing it escape to the south as soon as I pressed “Login” but I wouldn’t swear to it.

does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know of a solution?
