Will we ever get TikTok and CapCut back in the App Store this year?

Ask ByteDance, Ltd., TikTok, and CapCut if they have changed their minds about doing a qualified divestiture. The law that bans U.S. distribution of those apps now gave them 270 days to do one before the ban went into effect. If they had done qualifying divestitures, those apps would not now be banned.

Or ask Congress if they have changed their minds about the law, and are interested in passing new legislation that would repeal or modify it.

It would take one or both of those happening for Apple to be allowed to put the app back in the U.S. App Store.
