“The Claim Form requires that you confirm or update your current contact information and confirm the following under oath: from September 17, 2014 to December 31, 2024 (i) you purchased or owned a Siri Device in the United States or its territories and enabled Siri on that device, (ii) you experienced an unintended Siri activation, and (iii) the unintended Siri activation occurred during a conversation intended to be confidential or private. You may submit a Claim Form for up to five Siri Devices.
This is the only way to get a payment.
By receiving a payment, Settlement Class Members will give up rights and be bound by the Settlement.”
The deadline for submitting a claim form is July 2, 2025. The maximum claim is $100 or $20 per device. The settlement limit is $95 million so, I expect only a few dollars per device as the settlement fund is depleted.
Further information is below.
”If you did not receive an email or postcard about the Settlement and don’t have these codes but believe you are a member of the Settlement Class, you may still make a claim by going to the Submit a Claim page to make a claim and following the instruction on how to submit a Claim Form.”
If you are an eligible member of the class, you will receive an email regarding the settlement.
Wonderful! 😂

You don't, you must live in the United States.
Did you read my post directly above your post? 😁😁😁
If you just submit a claim form you may be disappointed because not everyone qualifies for a portion of the settlement.

Siri is a complicated system in the iPhone, which is why there is no privacy. It records the voice, but I didn't take it seriously. Now it turns out that the voice are being leaked.
Siri has to listen all the time for "Siri" or "Hey Siri" to do its job. It then has to listen to any command or question that follows that phrase. Sometimes it thinks you have said a trigger phrase when you haven't; which of course implies that it then starts trying to interpret what you say next as a command or question.
Sometimes when Siri triggers, the "command or question" that follows is recorded and run by human beings for the purposes of fine-tuning Siri's voice recognition (i.e., for purposes of quality control). If you happened to be talking about something that was not private or confidential, that, in and of itself, would not be enough to entitle you to any money. E.g., if you're discussing what groceries you need to get from the store, and Siri triggers, and some quality control person ends up hearing a part of your shopping list, there would be no harm and no foul.
If Siri mistakenly triggers during a private, confidential conversation, that means that there is some chance that a snippet of that conversation will be forwarded to actual human beings for the purposes of quality control. That is what the settlement is about. You have to be able to say truthfully, under oath, that Siri accidentally triggered at a time that you were discussing something private and confidential.
Siri is ALWAYS listening if you have Listen for "Hey Siri" or "Siri" turned on. If you are talking and a word is spoke, which sounds close to Siri, she will awaken and speak. That really isn't what this suit is about. If you don't want Siri to listen to you, turn off Listen For in Siri Settings. As far as the link for the suit, you should have already gotten an email if you qualify. And you MUST live in the US. If you don't live in the US, you don't quality. Otherwise, the link for this has been posted over and over and over throughout this thread.
