"Select All" not showing in Inbox

I have to delete iCloud emails individually instead of having the option to "select all" from my "Inbox". I'm accessing my iCloud via my laptop. This is tedious and a bit frustrating. I've read an Apple reply in the forum from 2022 and it was not helpful.
