Cannot edit or add to existing notes using Siri

I have seen posts about this question in 2021 for up to IOS 15. Users complained that they lost the feature to update an existing note in NOTES app starting with IOS 14 and 15 using Siri. Apple said they would fix it. Here we are in 2025 with IOS 18.3.1 and we still have the bug with Siri still responding "Sorry, I can't help with that". For goodness sake, it has been 4 years! Am I to understand that Apple just has dropped the ball on this and in all of this time has never bothered to fixed this problem! This is a very useful feature. Anyone else still complaining of this problem? What is going on?
