Why is my MacBook system audio not working with NDI Scan Converter?

Has anyone successfully got application audio to come out over the NDI scan converter on mac?

Microphone audio comes across ok, not not system audio, for example a video playing or spotify or audio that would have gone out the speakers.

Following up on this thread of the same question but no solution.

USB Audio Input not working after update I recently updated my MacBook Air to Monterey 12.7.1 but didn't change any other setting, inputs, cables etc. Prior to the update I've used an 8-channel ALESIS mixer with USB Audio input for recording, and I've used the same setup for years with no issues. Now, after the update, under my sound settings it shows the USB Audio CODEC as an input, just like always, but it doesn't register sound input anymore. There's no Input Level and the text says the selected device has no input controls. There's no errors or codes that pop up, just no sound. The output side shows the same USB Audio CODEC and works just fine.

Best way to connect MacBook Pro 14 2021 to 5.1 audio system? Does MacBook Pro 14 2021 support 5.1 audio output through the 3.5mm jack? If not what would be the best way to connect it to a 5.1 audio system and get true 5.1 audio? Thanks in advance!

Audio Interface Not Appearing in Sound Preferences I had recently upgraded my OS from Mojave to Monterey and found that my programs were all freezing so I had decided to downgrade back to Mojave by erasing my computer and backing up my data from Time Machine which is designated to my external hard drive. That seemed to fix the freezing issue and all my programs are working normally. However as a follow-up to this issue, now any audio interfaces that I connect to my Mac do not appear in sound preferences. I tried redownloading my drivers and any necessary installations in order to get my laptop to recognize the interface I'm using (Focusrite Saffire Pro 40) and still nothing. I wonder if during the erasure/OS reinstallation process that my drive became corrupted but thats the only clue I have, any help is appreciated!
