Had iTunes for years but it would not open so i deleted it and tried to reintall but get error msg The file <itunes Library itl" cannot be read because it was createdby a newer version of i Tunes.No idea what ver of iTunes was used since it's been deleted, What's next?

You can try downloading the latest version of iTunes directly from Apple or using the Microsoft Store.
