AirPods Pro 2 stolen not lost

My AirPods Pro 2 were stolen, not lost. I followed the location in Find My… for 3 days until I’m guessing they were sold and left the country. 

Since I have the serial number and model number, why I can not put a black mark on that item, preventing it from being resold. If it went for repair, Apple should confiscate it.
