Only Windows 11 on MacBook Pro 2017, No Mac os. Is it Possible?

Hi guys, I've a MacBook Pro 2017 and I want to Install Windows 11 Pro on it without existing of Mac os. There should be only Windows 11 Pro Os no Mac os. Is it Possible? Please guide me if possible.

Hello.


While it is not natively possible to install Windows 11 on Macs due to hardware security not being present or otherwise invisible/switched off in firmware, there are some quirky methods to get around it.


However, the latest version of macOS for your specific machine is required to do some things before you get to installing Windows:


  • Update system firmware
  • Update controller firmware
  • Update SSD firmware (if applicable)
  • Change boot security settings to allow external devices to start.
  • Download the Boot Camp driver pack for your machine.


Once you've done these things, you can use a tool like Rufus to make a modified Windows 11 installer on a PC and bring it over to the Mac.
