Why does my iPhone 15 Plus does not require passcode after restart?

I have an iPhone 15+ and my passcode does not require me to use it. I just swipe the screen up and my phone opens. I do a restart on my phone. The passcode works once then it’s back to just swipe up on the screen and it opens the phone Other people have an issue with this.

From what I’m hearing, you are initiating Face ID to unlock your iPhone without you knowing. To further add on, when you reset your iPhone, it requires your passcode the first time before you can freely use Face ID to unlock it. You can also test this by covering the front camera or your face and try unlocking your iPhone.
