Transfer tapes from Canon zr45 to MacBook air

Hi, I have been wanting to transfer some mini dv tapes from my canon zr45 cam corder to my macbook air. I am wondering how I would be able to do that. I need to know what I need and how I can make that possible. thanks.

Didgitizing and editing VHS video tapes on my imac Want to input my Home movie videos VHS tapes into my imac and digitize and edit them. Any suggestions as to what product to get the vhs tapes into my iMac. I plan on just using iMovie
