How do I fix Calendar flicking from monthly view to today's events on Mac?

Every time I open calendar it flicks from monthly view straight to today’s events. It’s only been doing this the past month or so. How do I reset calendar so it stays on the monthly view when opening?

Calendar App Glitching Upon Open This issue just started a few days ago. When I go to open Calendar on my Mac, I see all of my typical calendars for a split second, but then they all disappear and show only one calendar that I don't otherwise use. Calendar App on all open Desktops On my 24" iMac M1, OS 13.0.1 Recently my Calendar app appears on EVERY open desktop. I've closed it, rebooted the computer and reopened the app. Instantly shows on all open desktops. I can close the app on any desktop and they all go away. Reopen the app and it opens on all desktops. Doesn't make any difference if it's full screen or sized down. If I open new desktops and swipe right, there's a calendar on every one. I like the app, always have. I've had this iMac for over a year, it did not do this immediately. But I'm not certain exactly when it started. I've looked at system settings and calendar settings and don't see any way to turn this on or off. Appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Jim Mays

Mac Calendar moving recurring appointments When you move recurring appointments in the Calendar app it prompts you with the option about changing just that event or all in the series. For me anyway, I am MUCH more likely to move recurring events as one offs rather than all the events. It's frustrating that the latest version continues to come up with the prompt, even after you've moved a one-off event once, unlike the last version. Can't help but think that there's a smarter way to handle changes to recurring events...
