How do I enable lyrics to display in Apple Music library

So I just started noticing that lyrics are not showing up when I listen to music, the button is grayed out and cannot be clicked. It happens for all my songs new and old. I tried plugging it into my MacBook and pressing "Update info and cover art" but since I bought it from iTunes Store and not as a download, it won't let me manually type in the lyrics.
