what is mcxtools.log?

In the console app i see “MCXTools.log” when i look through it, it’s a bunch of log reports for mdmclient. I don’t have any MDMs, i confirmed this via terminal command and checked for profiles through settings. Should i be worried?

We all have those logs and it does not mean your device is managed. Here it is on my Mac:

FYI, it is best to avoid the Console app and system logs. The system logs are no longer useful for troubleshooting and often contain lots of odd, scary sounding entries meant only for the developers of those apps & utilities. You can drive yourself crazy looking at them (it is too late for me). The only still useful logs are the Kernel Panic logs.
