magic mouse will not scroll on macbook running

I bought a new magic mouse and it will not scroll, I have attempted to play with settings, but nothing is making any difference

Magic Mouse Settings Not Showing / Natural scrolling not working My Magic Mouse settings do not show in my settings. It's connected and it's working, apart from the natural scrolling. I have reset it, updated my mac to the latest software, but the natural scrolling won't work. It's a brand new mouse. I don't know how to make the scrolling work. I'm also aware the magic mouse settings are supposed to look different than what I have in the screenshot provided. Any help would be appreciated.

Magic Mouse touch scroll not working right out of the box i don’t understand. I’ve had the Mac mini for years and never had a problem. Got the new Magic Mouse because of the USB-C and the touch features do not work. Connected to my old mouse and no problem. Reconnected the new mouse and no touch features. Not to mention I returned a brand new one already because I thought it was defective

Sorry, but the new USB-C Magic Mouse requires macOS Sequoia 15.1 or newer to be fully functional.
