Why does my iPhone XS turn off while charging?

my iphone xs goes off when plugged on charge n goes to sleep mode, n turns back on by itself when i unplug from charge, then it says iphone has restarted but when I’m playing music and it’s charging it doesn’t use to go off like dat, and also it goes off when i plug in earpiece just to listen to music... any help on how to solve this…

Check your charging cable by using a different one.
What is your Battery Health when going to Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging > Maximum Capacity. If it is under 80%, or if it had been replaced by a third party, then I would suspect a battery problem.
Try a Force Restart and test again. It may take a couple of attempts to get the speed and sequence of the key presses correct and the last step of holding the side button until the Apple Logo appears could take up to 15 seconds.

And lastly, take it to the Apple Store for a free diagnostic. Of course that option depends on if you have one nearby.

I assume you mean the device is powered off when charging or plugging in your earpiece, and listening to music is no longer possible in those 2 scenarios.
