Can't log in to Apple Developer website

I am trying to use my mac computer (which is logged in as me) to log into the apple developer website- I've never used the website though I did successfully log into it on my iphone tonight.

But I need to log into it on my mac.

I type my password in and it pops up on both my mac and my iphone saying that my apple ID is being used to sign in to a new device. Both mac and iphone give me the options to "don't allow" or "allow". Whichever device I choose to click "allow" on, it then gives me a code on that device that it says I need to type in - except there is nowhere prompting me to put in a code on either device including the website.

Once I click "allow" on one, the option disappears on the other. Meanwhile the password box turns red on the website and says "failed to verify your identity".

I tried resetting my password. Closing and reopening the website on the computer. I have tried opening my apple account in my phone. I logged out and back into my account on my computer.

A user in the forums for a different login issue said to put the code after your password - that didn't work as well. I also tried deleting my password after an attempt and putting in Just the code. Nope.

Please Help! I need to download something for school. :(
