iOS 18.4: Siri in Shortcuts cuts off Speak Text after API response

Hi everyone,

After updating to iOS 18.4, I’ve noticed that the "Speak Text" action in Shortcuts is suddenly being cut off prematurelywhen reading out responses from external APIs like OpenAI’s GPT (chat/completions endpoint) or Google Gemini.

Before the update, Siri would read the full response without issue. Now, it often stops after the first sentence or even just says "Done," despite the full text being correctly retrieved and displayed.

🔍 What I’ve tried:

• Confirmed the API returns the full response (checked via "Show Result")
• Tried both gpt-3.5-turbo and gpt-4, same issue
• Changed temperature and max_tokens, no difference
• Added system instructions to "respond in plain text"
• Even splitting the text into chunks — still gets cut randomly

🤔 What I suspect:

This might be a bug introduced in iOS 18.4 related to Siri's handling of text-to-speech inside Shortcuts. It may also affect long text in general, not just from AI sources.
