How to play non-Apple purchased albums on iPhone 12 via Win11 using Apple Music?

I have decided to start using an iPhone12. I have a library of Apple purchased music via iTunes on my Windows 11 PC (before Apple Music took over from iTunes). I have an extensive library of music from my older CDs ripped into MP3. On my Windows 11 PC (can convert to most formats if needed). On PC I have iDrive, Apple Device, Apple Music, iTunes etc... I have searched using AI for information on how to get my Albums on to the iPhone and use Apple Music to play them. (I could use say VLC maybe). I can create a folder in my USER area on the phone say called MUSIC and put them their via iDrive but Apple Music cannot find them their! VLC tends to search an Android phone for music. This is all part of Apples closed system it feels to me and wants me to sign up to Apple Music. Any solutions. My RiPd music albums on the iPhone and preferably use Apple Music in phone to play them.
