Photos app sometimes skipping a number in sequential order on iPhone

iPhone 14, running iOS 18.3.2 -

I've noticed that my photos are sometimes skipping a number in sequential order. I'm not deleting any photos. For example - I took a photo with my camera at 9:01am today (IMG_5034). Then later, I saved a photo from Facebook at 9:59am - and it saved as IMG_5036. I did not take any sort of photo in between those times, nor did I save any photo, delete anything etc. Where did IMG_5035 go and why is this happening? I can't explain it and need to understand what's causing the glitch in sequence!!! How can I fix this?
