can i switch my apple pencil for a different kind?

i recently bought the ipad 10 gen and sense it only has a c charger i bought the c- type apple pencil. However i quickly realized that it does not have pressure sensitivity, which if you are an artist like me, you know that not having pressure sensitivity is EXTREMELY painful after a while of drawing, and it feels like the seventh layer of carpal tunnel ****. the only reason someone would ever pay that much for a stylus is because apple pencils are SUPPOSED to have pressure sensitivity. But apparently i had bought the only apple pencil model that did not have pressure sensitivity. And since the second gen apple pencils are not compatible with my ipad, i would have to buy an apple pencil with an incompatible charging cord, so im wondering if i can switch them for free because i really dont feel like paying 80 dollars for a mediocre stylus again.

While you can return the Pencil if you bought it from Apple less than 14 days ago, there is no compatible Apple pencil with pressure sensitivity for that model of iPad.

You are free to choose 3rd party models that may have that option though.

The first generation Apple Pencil, compatible with iPad10, does support pressure sensing.
