Why does App Store wants me to download Apple apps I already have installed?

When I go into Apple App Store on my iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 18.4 and go into apps made by Apple I can download apps I already have installed on my iPhone. For example, I can download Apple Podcasts, Apple Maps, Camera etc. even though these apps are already installed on my iPhone. Why is that?
