How to completely disable Facebook background refresh on iPhone 16?

I cannot seem to turn off the background refresh for facebook even if background refresh is off on my settings.

Background app refresh just stops the app from contacting Facebook servers. Facebook can still push updates and notifications to your iPhone.

That is because you have Background App Refresh to OFF.

hi, it looks like you already turned off your background activity, its completly turned off so you don't have to switch it off manually!
