Refer to additional log for details.

The battery just drained even the machine is left there doing nothing.

I searched over the internet and found lots of similar issues reported over years, but nothing reported can fix the problem.

Can not believe this problem still exists after so many years ....

Is there anyway can fix the issue?

Thank you.

So let it run and catch up with background task and compare your results...

your example it appears it is accessing the CDN (Content Delivery Network)

Apple uses its Software Update service as a mechanism for installing “background and critical” updates that are installed silently in the background with no notifications to the user.

The current stable release of Sequoia including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 15.4
