Using iPhone Mirroring, can I transfer Apple Notes Folders from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro?

I think the new iPhone Mirroring might be a great thing, but I have not figured out how to move Notes without having to open each note and drag the contents. Is there a possibility that I might be able to move and entire Folder of Notes at once? I could drag the Folder but once it was in a desktop folder and I opened it, it was not there. Am I missing something? Thank you so much for the help.
