Why does macOS 15 require manual permission for each file in a script with full disk access?

After applying the latest updates to OSX 15, we are unable to run a script that retrieves files from a remote server. We set the permissions for the script to full disk access but Apple refuses to accept that and asks permission for each file to be transferred. Since there are 12 files each day, 7 days per week by 32 locations, the script times out long before you can click ok that many times. WHY won't it accept the fact that we have set the permission level and know what we are doing?

I am not sure that Full Disk Access is the issue here.

If it had been denied Full Disk Access, the application would not even be able to "see" the files.

What kind of script is this - Applescript, shell script, something else?

How exactly are you asked for permission? If possible, post a screenshot (covering any information that may be deemed private, of course).
