turning off view outside the frame not working on iphone 16 pro - it still shows up on the screen while shooting in zoom mode - both photo and video - takes up so much space I can't get a good picture. Tried setting the option off but still doesn't work een after a reboot.

The feature can be difficult to see in dim ambient light. The image below has View Outside the Frame off. The red arrows point to the black/opaque boarders.
The image below has View Outside the Frame on. Please not the semitransparent boarders allowing viewing of the entire frame.
I’m not quite sure what you are seeing. What are your settings, are you using hardware or software zoom? Can you post a screenshot?
