I'm installing old software on Apple Silicon Sequoia, and I get this message

f77: Command not found.
$ done

Do you know how I can solve it?

Moving old and potentially 32-bit software to an operating system that only supports 64-bit code is one hurdle, and Apple does not offer any Fortran-77 compiler.
There are online Fortran to {C++, Swift, etc.} translators that may provide you with more robust code than what you are facing otherwise.
