Screen time password to unlock apps is different to settings screen time passcode

As the title says, the screen time password to unlock apps is different to settings screen time passcode.

The password to unlock apps is for some reason 0000, which is not the actual screen time passcode. Changing the actual screen time passcode does not change it either.

The phone is on the latest version of iOS, but had this issue on 18.3.2 as well. Any suggestions?

There is the passcode you set when you set up the phone, which lets you unlock your screen so you can use the phone. There is the option to set a Screen Time passcode and no, they would not necessarily be the same. It would depend on what code you used to set up Screen Time. It is not clear what you are actually asking. A passcode of 0000 for your standard unlock the screen of your iPhone is MOST insecure and should NOT be used as it would be too easy for someone to guess if they came in possession of your iPhone.

Can you better explain what you are trying to accomplish?

I didn’t state in the first post that this is what I’m currently encountering, not trying to accomplish - apologies for that. It seems to be a bug that I can’t get rid of.

In the screen time settings, there’s an already established code to change those settings, so the screen time passcode. However, when apps are blocked, there’s passcode to unblock them is 0000 and not the screen time passcode I set. I’ve tried multiple things to fix it and I can’t figure it out. To change settings in screen time is requires the password I’ve set, so I know it works, but for unlocking apps it’s 0000 for some reason.
