Macbook pro 2024 freezes

I’m experiencing frequent freezes on my Mac where, all of a sudden, the cursor turns into a spinning wheel, and none of the apps respond anymore. I can still move the cursor, but there’s a significant lag, and everything becomes unresponsive. It even crashed once.

I’ve noticed the spinning wheel shows up during different actions—for example, when I start dragging files around the screen or when I try to copy an image.

if i restart or wait couple of minutes goes back to normal al.. but is not ok

What could be causing this? Does it need to be taken to fix?

rather than playing 20 questions, i'm thinking you should download and run the free version of EtreCheck so we can see if you have some software installed that is causing your issue. make sure you give "full disk access" to etrecheck. Learn how to use it by reading Using EtreCheck. if you need help interpreting the report, you can see how to post the report here by reading How to use the Add Text Feature When Posting Large Amounts of Text, i.e. an Etrecheck Report. and it automatically obscures sensitive things (like serial numbers) so you don't have to worry about sharing the report here.

the only crash reports show are lsd: Launch Services Daemon, typically used when you launch an App.

you are showing six unsafe shutdowns, which suggests you may not always be choosing Shutdown off the Apple menu.

I do not see any signs of Apple Intellegence add-ons, but I Honestly do not know what those would look like if present. You are showing OpenAI and Chat GPT interfaces.

¿What is the date of your most recent backup, and by what method?
