How do I resolve Apple's unauthorized activation of lost mode on my iPhone and T-Mobile's forced trade-in?
I have the proof of purchase. I have proof that I don’t owe Tmobile any money for my service plan. I’ve spent 8 hours + on phone calls with myself and Apple and Tmobile asking them to activate my phone or fix my phone that I never lost.
There is an email for theft and loss claim that AppleCare sent me. There is several other emails from Apple about the permanent lost mode on my phone that I never requested.
The phone is currently logged into my iCloud that I never changed and shows that the phone is not in lost mode and has the location on. My phone is stuck on SOS mode and I’m unable to make any calls or receive any text or use it without Wi-Fi. I can only use mobile apps or go on the Internet.
Tmobile is telling me that they will allow me to trade in my phone and pay for a new one. I shouldn’t have to pay for a new one.
Apple is refusing to check my recorded phone call from March 26, 2025 where a representative from Apple over the phone asked me if I wanted my phone in lost mode. I said no. They did it anyways.
Apple is forcing me to proceed with my theft and loss claim that I didn’t initiate and T-Mobile is trying to force me to pay for a new device and trade in my phone that was never lost or stolen.
