Why is my iPhone 14 Plus's MagSafe magnet weak?

Does anyone know any possible reason a magsafe magnet becomes very weak? I'm using 14 plus and magnetic accessories (wallet, pop sockets, etc) wont stick very well. For example the pop sockets wont be able to hold the weight of my phone even without casing. I've tried the accessories on my friend's iphone 13 and the accessories all stick strongly. Any ways to fix this?

We can't tell you why. Magnets can lose their magnetic properties by being heated to a high temperature. They can lose their properties by being exposed to a higher powered magnet's opposing side, which is called Degaussing. Since we can't test your phone from our sofa's, it would be advisable to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show what you're seeing to Apple.
