Why are my Calendar entries blocked out?

When I scan through dates, if I have an event longer than others, the others are hidden. You can barely see them if you are looking for them, but I keep missing them. If I click on the event that hides the others, it will show through. Example below:

hiIf you look closely, you can see the "hidden" events. If you click on the longer event, they become visible as below.

Calendar events keep disappearing. I have been havinga huge problem adding calendar events only to have them later disappear. I’ve even noticed the event was missing, added it again, only to have it disappear again. I’ve missed several very important appointments because of this issue. Very frustrating to rely on the calendar only to have it lose my important appointments. Any suggestions on how to prevent it from happening?

Calendar entries disappeared As of yesterday all of my entries in my Calendar have disappeared. They are gone from my Mac, iphone, iPad, etc. I tried rebooting the devices and this did not help. All my software is up to date. Can I get these back? Please help with detailed info - I am not very tech-savvy. Thanks

Calendar changes with 18.1.1 What happened? How do I get my calendar to list multiple days in a scroll? I'm NOT happy with this (supposed) update!! The monthly calendar on the top of the screen is worthless to be and taking up valuable space!
