If you purchased it within 14 days, then yes, you will be able to return and exchange it within Apple's return policy window. If you purchased it more than 14 days ago, then unfortunately Apple doesn't offer trade in's on the most recent lineup of iPhone's. That means you'll either have to sell it on your own and put that money towards the model, or wait until this year's new lineup comes out for you to trade it in.
