Some apps on my new iPhone show ‘waiting’

I bought a new iPhone 16 & some of my old apps haven’t been loaded, (waiting) for over 12 hrs. I have good connection to internet

“Certain” Apps not Updating I currently have 12 apps that won’t update. As new apps updates are available, those will update without an issue. The ones not updating are pretty standard apps too…HBO, Amazon and YouTube, for example. I have a iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 16. I’ve also only used about half my storage so we have plenty of room. I will also add that this phone was bought used and I just got it a few months ago. It was also restored from my laptop (my previous phone was a iPhone 8).

Can’t download or update any apps I can’t download or update any apps on my iPhone. I know that is not anything that have with my storage or restart my phone to do with. The only thing I know right now is that it has been going on for around three weeks right now. When my family and I was in Amsterdam, it worked perfect, but after that, no.? The only thing I can think of is that it did something with my phone when I used it a little bit on the airplane on our way home, more than that do I not know.

Along with a good connection, make sure your iPhone is plugged in to power. That will help quicken the process. And if you have a lot of data to transfer, this process can take quite a while. I would give it some more time.
