How can I get my Robux back after a refund?

Hello,

I recently bought 1700 robux from a trusted seller (where they log into my acc and buy it for me with the money i gave) and just two days ago, the remaining 480 robux i had was taken by roblox and they notified me, saying, "Purchase refunded: Robux removed from your account".

I did not request for a refund for any purchases I've made in game or to get my money back, i have contacted roblox and they told me to come here. I use an android and I'm assuming my seller uses an iphone to purchase the robux for me as roblox has stated in their email (which they also said was the reason it got taken away?). Roblox has told me to ask apple/iTunes for help on this, and I'm not quite sure if I'm doing this right.

I logged out of all my devices and changed my password as the seller has adviced, and reactivated my two step verification.

My brother's account did not have this problem and I'm questioning why it only happened to me. I would like someone's' help to get my robux back somehow, i had a few in game purchases i wanted to get.

You were scammed. This is not an Apple issue. You allowed another person to access your account, which is a terrible idea. Since they made the purchase, it is well within their right to request a refund for it as well. Apple is not going to honor any agreement you make with a third party, that is a risk that you have taken.

Hey AdriQist!

Firstly I would like to say that this is the apple community and I am not a member of apple staff

secondly if it got refunded it will be an issue with the seller or potentially fraud occurring

those services are not 100% trustworthy and could file a charge back and keep your money id recommend going to the local shops or buying a Roblox gift card online

Hey AdriQist!

as Jim said it is a risk that you were willing to take

in future maybe only buy Roblox gift cards eg using a VPN to access another country's store website and buying it thru there as an e-gift card?

You would also have to pay an International Banking Fee for the conversion by the way

Hello!

Thank you for answering, the only reason i had to use a seller was because my country does not sell gift cards at local shops and online.

I would need to buy it from a foreign country which is quite difficult as i dont have any of the online banking methods they use.

I have bought from multiple sellers (some local and some foreign) a few times before this and this is the first time its happened. If I can't solve this issue i would probably just buy another one but from another seller (much preferably local as there's only one well known seller for games).

Hello!

Yes i have accepted that I wouldn't be able to get it back, and i knew the risk when i bought it. Thank you for replying!

However, it is the only way i can buy it until i get full access to my bank account so i can connect directly to the game. I only lost $5 worth of robux right now and i have decided not to buy from a foreign seller this time. Meaning i will still be taking that risk until then.

No problem! The risk is yours to take. Also be aware that someone can change the password on your Roblox account and hold it as ransom until you pay them more money. They can also delete your account altogether after you let them log in. They do this by adding their own email address to the account for any account communication. It makes no difference whether they use an Android/Apple device.
