Why in heavens name would I want my camera shutter to sound as loud as my ringer?!
If I’m outside, I need to hear my phone so the sound is turned up. I then go to take a picture of a bird and the shutter sound is so loud it scares the entire flock away!
there needs to be a separate shutter sound control in camera settings! PLEASE!

All sounds has been universal since the first iphone.

Use the side control flip the switch down for vibrate, then take your picture, done flip the switch back up again for ringer.

these forums are user helping other users like yourself, it's sort of going
to a physical apple store and asking other customers there advice
in some countries like japan it's bound by law that the camera shutter makes sound no matter what, phones bought there will only make a loud shutter sound when one take a picture
if you wish apple in other ways differ between volume of their various sounds you can inform them using their feedback channels
Camera shutter sound should not be linked to the volume control!
