Can I increase security of Journal app by setting my own password?

I have started to use the Journal app and locked it via FaceID. However, my kids know my passcode, so they can easily unlock/bypass the FaceID by entering the passcode and then see my Journal content.

How can I create a specific password to lock my Journal content?

You can't set up a separate passcode for Journal.

Change the password on your phone to one your children don't know. Also, make it clear to them that there will be consequences for violating your privacy.

If you want to let them use your phone for a game or video app, use Guided Access to restrict them to that app.
