Why can't I log in to Tesla app on my iPhone 16e?
Following a new phone, and transferring old iPhone 12 to family member, I have been unable to login to my Tesla app to use as car key.
The reason is that the phone's keyboard will not appear so cannot enter login details, neither as existing account or opening a new account.
Have tried deleting and re-installing the app a few times. No change.
The same app on the transferred iPhone 12 works perfectly, and on the settings page the Tesla app has a long list of "Allow Tesla to access" items starting with "Location ... Always" which Tesla tells me is required and below: Tesla Settings: the same version and build numbers as on the 16e. But the 16e has a very short list of "Allow Tesla to access" without Location, only showing Bluetooth, Apple Intelligence & Siri, Search, Background App Refresh and Mobile Data.
Why is this Tesla app being so silly, when it works perfectly on the older phone?
